How about the simple easy Windows logo+L key (or Create>Shutdown>Lock) -- or alternatively using the Ctrl+Alt+Del combination keys then selecting Lock this Computer (from the list: Lock this Computer, Switch User, Get out , Adapt a Password, Start Mission Manager)? Comes within handy when you leave your computer for a few minutes.
