Get a variable via WebBrowser in vb.net (visual studio 2010)

Hello Fellow Spiceworks users,

I hold quite a good question for you every! i americium currently developing a login application that i am having some difficulty with!

Basically what i want to do is, place a webbrowser within a form within visual studios 2010 and direct it to a login page written in php. And then after the user types in their username and password. The signifier next detects that the user is authenticated and so takes over and opens another form within the actual application instead next using a web browser?

Is this viable or is a pain in the ass! and will not work lol...?
