iMac FireWire Ports not Working | Ways to repair and Assess

Greeting, Today I metal active to be screening you a obstacle I had and still have with my Slowly 2008 24" iMac. When plugging in a FireWire 400 External HDD the computer's FireWire Controller Board became unresponsive and slipshod to show that the FireWire 400 Drive nor the FireWire 800 drive I had plugged into the Machine. Once going into the "System Profiler" and clicking on the FireWire Tab, once the FireWire 400 drive was attached it would say "Unable to list FireWire devices" and when that HDD was not plugged in, it would come up beside my other FireWire 800 drive that was plugged in and all was devout. It is annoying that my FireWire 400 anchorage does not work still and I will be maddening thing I can to bring it up and practical. But, in the mean juncture I am glad that my FireWire 800 drive is working sound. I use it a lot more than the 400. If your iMac or Mack in general is also experiencing this issue, what I would do to examine to see what it is, is, turn off the computer. Undo everything attached to it. Besides Keyboard and Gnawer (Save Wireless) and swivel the computer back against. Past attaching thing back, start with the essentials first. Like, internet, racket, etc.. Then move onto USB's and FireWire Devices. I did this and everything worked fine up until the point that I blocked in the FireWire 400. Once you know what's causing the Kernal Panic, you can a-ok about fixing it! And there is many ways overly. Which I will link at the end of this description. Thank you, Chargerfun34 Links ...
