Is it okay to use plastic wrap to assure my laptop keyboard to protect from crumbs and grease from my hands?

Eating and especially drinks around lap tops and computers is not a good thing to do. Hose or any liquid spilled on and into it will cause major problems, shorts, flare up out the mother board etc.
Don't cover the key pane as it helps with the cooling by allowing air to get into the lap top as well as never use a lap top on a soft surface like pillows, bed etc arsenic this blocks cooling vents.
