Exporting Email Files to a Thumb Drive

I cannot insight a way to export email files to a thumb drive so I can move them to other computer. Outlook Express has this capability and I have used it seveal seasons. Is there a element that I succeed not know about or are in that plans to insert this feature into Thunderbird. Thanks MntnMn
