More than information here: www.2manytoyz.com Some of the reviews on Amazon said this inverter could not supply the rated watts. Furthermore, it was incapable of supplying over a 1000 Watts. I believe these reviewers used either overly small of a battery bank, overly small gauge of wire, or a combination of both. Not using a big enough battery bank, or flabby enough cable, faculty cause an under-voltage condition at the inverter, causing it to shutdown. Xantrex recommends 4/0 gauge cablegram. Within my test, I'm using what I had on hand, which was 4 gauge wire. Not near big enough for a abiding installation, but big enough to demonstrate that this inverter will power associate almost 1500 Watt heat gun. I will buy 4/0 cable soon, and run this inverter at the full 1800 Watt (continuous) rating. Don't blame the hardware all for an improper setup. No affiliation with anyone!
