My Windows Prospect laptop randomly shuts down regularly and is a lot slower than usual. What can I do to fix this?

The internet and overall computer is slow, and sometimes within the middle of when I metal on the computer, it shuts down and I essential restart it. It wasn't suchlike this until like 1 week agone. The laptop is single about 1 period old. Are there any property I can do to mayhap fix this or and scans I can run?
