It's getting close to the end of my senior year of high school, and I'm looking at buying a laptop in the next some weeks. I have good, but basic knowledge of computers, and I'm having a few serious trouble trying to figure out what I should end up purchasing. I've narrowed it down to a few different possible choices, and I'm looking all for any advice on which one grouping think would be the best.
I'm planning on using the laptop (obviously) for college purposes, but I am also planning on using it for some gaming. For example, I'm hoping to use it to run games such element Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, etc. Nothing too extreme (like Crysis), but definitely some higher end stuff.

Right now I'm leaning towards the first or second choice. One of my biggest concerns is whether or not the 1GB picture card is substantially better than the 512MB one in the MSI laptop.
If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated! Any help in determining the gaming performance of the laptops, like specifically how well they would play an example game like the ones above would be especially helpful!
