HDMI equivalent from laptop with no HDMI?

I have a DVI retired and a lawful audio output. I have a pleasant projector with a 5.1 rumble system that is an all in one package moving back to a receiver/bluray that has an HDMI input. Is there anyway I can bring a 5.1 signal from my laptop for movies that I stream from my computer? Buying a modern sound system is within reason.
