my artillery indicator connected my laptop keeps bright even though its blocked in. its not blinking orange its blue ?

I had this laptop for about a year. one day i was aquatics the web until i noticed the little freestyle indicator started blinking. it still blinks even but my laptops still plugged within charging. has this happened to you guys. help Maine its a inspiron 1525 laptop about $700.
