This is comparision both two my prototype inverter..switch vs liner...this both inverter i made with low cost..and look like switching mode more efficient in term of cost,light,small and can produce huge poet output compare to fly ball transformer inverter with bulky,expensive transfomer price...this switching mode inverter i made 100% same topology from commercial inverter...its very complicated to build expicially winding the torodial ferrite transformer...AND you must person OSCILLOSCOPE to build this SMPS inverter..
