FirmWare Hub - FWH

Short for code Hub, FWH is part of the Intel Accelerated Hub Architecture that contains both the system BIOS and integrated video BIOS on one component. The code Hub connects directly to the I/O Controller Hub (ICH) without requiring associate ISA bus. In the picture to the right, is an example of a FWH chip in a PLCC.
