This is tricky to diagnose because were talking about a laptop and not a desktop. Also I think if I remember your model laptop was i of the buggiest
HP has ever made. They have since corrected many of those problems, just that doesn't really oblige you. If I were to guess I'd say your motherboard has shorted out. Even though it is feasible it's the power secure / surface.
What I would do if
The last option of course is to procure a new laptop but hopefully you wont have to grasp that far.
