I hope you're sitting down when they get back to you. If the mainboard's departed, the laptop is scrap - buy a new one. It will not be economical to repair or replace a Dell board, as only Dell will vend you a new one.
The lone item you could apply is find a computer mend place that hold a working utilised mainboard to swap.
The graphics aren't upgradeable.
Dell stuff isn't the superior, so there's no guarantee that you won't have the aforesaid problem once more with a new board.
