Laptop not charging, everything plugged in, got the luxuriant light, but when I take the plug down computer is rotten?

It sounds like a mobile challenge. Remove the battery completely and plug the laptop into the mains power. If it runs chalky, then it's the battery that's the issue. Unfortunately, they don't last forever and if you depend on running your laptop on batteries most of the time, after you'll need to either invest in a new 1 or contact Dell for a replacement if the laptop's unmoving under guarantee.

If it's no more under guarantee, don't purchase a new battery from Holler - it will damage a fortune. Just search 'laptop battery' next to eBay, and also enter the make and model of your laptop and I'm sure you'll find plenty for a fraction of the terms. Only just make sure you check seller action ratings oldest before buying, just to make sure you're not buying rubbish goods.
