All I do know is the the battery next to the DV4 has sucked on 2 divergent models I've purchased. *Never* more than 30-45 minute of power after about 6 mos of usage next to non-DVD and non-Network (turned on) use. (Id est. You can't turn everything off and edit a word document and have it last on "Power Saver" mode. [Calls to support just plain and simply state "we're not responsible for battery life. Only defects in Materials or Workmanship."]
