Computer Laptop Help Please?

Ok, calling out to all nerds (jk jk).
My Laptop (Inspiron 1545 next to Windows 7), had stopped working all for on the user screen. On the area where you choose users and enter the parole for that user (theres solely one user, yours truly) the keyboard and the thing you slide your fingers complete stops working, as in I can pust the letters any try to move the pointer all I want but it wont move the pointer or insert letters hence I can get into my user. At one of the loading times, it gives the resort to go to flat aweigh OR scanning whatervers (I know that it started near an S and it has the BIOS way out), you've to press F2 or F12 to find to these and on those screens the keys and gnawer hard work JUST FORFEIT. Can someone help me OR report to Maine if theres any options under set up to at least create my computer work again?
