Deleting and using Recovery Partition in Sony Vaio?

I bought a sony vaio laptop an year ago and found out it had a 14 gb recovery partition hidden inside
It didnt bother me until lately as my hard disk is almost full . Now i want to delete it and extend it into some other drive but cant as it has no options when i right click it ... please help ( Any other idea than formatting the whole of the laptop ? ) I am also using ubuntu 10.04
