I've disassembled my laptop a couple of times before usually to clean the CPU fan since I have a mobile sempron.....and make sure of course that the laptop is not powered when I do various maintenance on it ex. battery removal etc.
But...I've gotten occassional static shocks on it.....
The laptop is plugged into a 1300W Fellows Surge Protector....
any way I can reground it properly?
I got a screwdriver kit my surge protector, some rubbing alcohol qtips...
getting a vena notebook cooler and memory upgrade and new thermal paste if anyone is wondering about alternatives...
thanks
