Deleting THING on a recouping hard disc is a bad notion, because everything by there is extremely compressed. Deleting holding you "might not need" may corrupt the whole archive, rendering the recovery disk useless.
If you are that much strapped for space, don't risk making a 5gb or so disk smaller and break it, just spend $70 and buy a 2tb external arduous thrust. You'll ne`er fill it up
