Hey i got a laptop charger that isnt employed and i have bought another and it worked thus far !?

It's a break in the wire into the insulation near or at the plug. It happens to peak people I know with a lap top. I think it's just a poor design.
You can either buy a replacement plug from an electronics store like Radio Shack and replace it yourself (you'll need to solder it) or get other charger and see provided you can get an extended pledge because it will happen once more.
