How more would it cost to fix this type of interlude in a laptop?

A good web show I have found recently is "mundocorp.com" They sell parts for most computers. It sounds like the LCD inverter might be bad . This controls the screen show. You'll probably need to clutch the monitor & edge off to change it. Look on line for a technical almanac for disassembling the laptop first.
