My friends display went compleatly dead with no warning on his HP dv9700 laptop, it's almost $400 dolars to renew the screen, just I seat that HP also sells just the inverter for about $50. How do I determine that it is the inverter?
It is the display, it work fine with an external VDU.
I have over 10 age expirence within computer repair, just have not come accross this one before.
