My laptops screen keeps going black for active 2 seconds?

Sounds like the connecter that goes from the mom board to the screen going bad or just wants adjusting. Could be loose, or might need to be replaced. If baggy, it will only decline with time.
Have someone that knows about laptops take a look at it.
