my dvd camcorder is hooked up to my computer, so where are my videos on my computer?

Try rebooting your computer, with your camera connected this may help it to find all the drivers for your equipment. Should you still be having problems then try downwards

The quickest way is to slip the DVD into your computer dvd thrust and copy the files directly from at hand. they should be in a folder called Video_ts.

just copy the files into a new folder then rename the VOB files to MPG then you can edit them. you can get software to do this but why bother.

Or if you have software that will handle the copied files then off you go.
