The inaugural "AE Statesman Pedal Power Setup Race" was inspired with a desire to limelight the effort required to be energy efficient by drawing by family to help generate power via a special bicycle setup. Corroding teams of cardinal resistant one another throughout the ii day conference within a array of pedal power bike battles, AE Ian Smith undertook to not only provide a Business Centre & Internet Cafe for the major luxuriant event, but to draw on representatives of the building industry to generate the power to run it. While the initiative was a creative way to complement AE Smith's sponsorship of this prima raw building event, the Pedal Power race had a serious side - putting a spotlight on the challenges of being energy efficient.
