Laptop hinges are too snug?

The hinges on my Toshiba Satellite L455-S5975 are too tight and the screen casing is sound apart because of that. I metal not going to risk practical on the computer myself so I was wondering however much it costs on average to have being loosen the hinges a bit and fix the casing?
