take out the battery and then wash it with clean water, get all the crap retired, leave it to dry in a warm place NOT HOT then aft a few days inclose the battery and effort it.
it probably wont sweat but its worth a try.
if your confident you could acquire a screwdriver out and discard it down true you could find out where the turd has dried, wash it off with liquid next some.
