It's good practice to absolutely pleading and almost completely discharge the battery the first time. While new generation laptop batteries do not suffer from the "memory effect" from not completely exercising the mobile, it doesn't hurt to race it through its paces every once within a while.
You should remove the battery if you plan on top of leaving it plugged in for AN extended length of time--like days. Otherwise it won't upset to time off the battery in.
