The best remedy is to replace the fan merely if that is not feasible, make sure the cooling wad has an electric built within device and not just a contoured thigh pad. The elcectric fan cooling pads run about 50.00 so weigh this with the cost of replacing the admirer in the lap top. But all for a temporary fix.........when it gets hot and shuts down, turn it upside down and salt away a cool place until it cools sour. Do cognise that the excess heat can damage your lap top.
