How do I change my keyboard settings?

If going to Control Panel --> Hardware and Sound --> Adjust commonly used mobility settings --> Change "Multimedia key" to ''Function key" doesn't work... You will have to go into your BIOS at the start up screen.


When your computer starts, press the ESC button when you see the message *Press the ESC key for Startup Menu*. If you don't have that ESC option then as soon as your computer comes on press F10 until you enter your BIOS setup. But if you DO have the ESC picking, press it and then constrict the F10 key to get into your BIOS. Use your arrows to navigate and highlight *System Configuration*, then highlight *Action Keys Mode*. Then press your F5 key to change *Action Keys Mode* to DISABLED. Pinch F10 to save and exit. Then ENTER to save all your changes.
