The devices you mention are all low-power, so the extension size should make virtually no difference. If you were running a radiator or hot plate off of it, the actual extension lead would break up a small amount of power, with the 10 amp lead existence slightly less efficient.
Extra switches to turn off sockets can't hurt, but only help a lot with older electronics. The phone charger will draw single 0.1 to 0.3 watt when not actually charging a phone, and a modern laptop that is rotten or in standby faculty only draw 0.5 watt, if it's not busy charging the battery.
