Connecting MacBook to Cisco Router for configuration

I had difficulty finding how to connect my Mac laptop to the Cisco Router for configuration. It was simple once I found it, connect your USB-serial adapter to the Mac, and the serial telegram to the adapter and the console end to the router. Then use the "Terminal" programme on the Mac to connect. Be sure to set up the drivers for the USB adapter on the Mac. Use the "screen" command close to this: screen /dev/name_of_device_driver 9600 . That's all.
