Anyone cognise what's wrong with my laptop LCD eyeshade?

I dropped it today. It flickers, black is now red, and white is now blue. Could it be damage to the CCFL? I tried connecting an external monitor to the laptop and it displayed correctly, so I'm guessing it's not the video card. I'm annoying to decide what to fulfil. I'm very technical, and would feel comfortable exchange the backlight or the whole screen if I knew that was the problem. Anyone have experience with these property? Thanks
