My son's Arrival laptop has devevloped a thin blue line running the length of the LCD peak and a green line .

It's a defect in the chips that drive the rows and columns of the LCD sheet.

Send it back under warranty.

If you are having constant worries only send it subsidise and get your money back. Get a better laptop.
