can i connect my laptop vga to LCD via red yellow white cable?

The problem is that VGA is a digital signal, and Red Yellow White (RCA) cables are linear. As well, using RCA cables, merely the yellow contains video, red and white are both Audio signals, which you cannot put through a VGA out.

Whether you affix the VGA to Part adapter, provided your LCD has Component hookups, it should work. Note: RCA and Component are whole not like, just because they have the same plugs does not mean you can interchange them.

If your LCD doesn't own Component hookups, then you will demand to find a VGA to RCA adapter (the 1 ashen plug) and so another adapter to turn the headphone jack on your laptop into RCA (The red and white cables) Only then will it function right.
