This is what my machine sounds like present. I don't know about you, but I presume the disciple might be injured. :) Update: so yea, as you might have guessed, the fan WAS broken, and had to be replaced. I've forfeit the warranty for my laptop, so I didn't want to send it in to Dell to have it replaced. Ordered a new hanger-on off the internet (google is your friend), and had someone I know screw my laptop apart and replace it. It was pretty easy.
